Hi All,
We are pleased to announce that the Sprint Wireless (Sprint) Discount Program is now available to Chevron retirees. The Program generally provides a 22% discount. We would like to thank Chevron and Sprint for making the Program available. We would also like to thank Bill Dodge (Member of the CRA Benefits Committee) for arranging the discount.
The attached document which is entitled “Chevron Retirees / Sprint Discount Program” provides information about the Program. The document can also be found on the Chevron Retirees Association website www.chevronretirees.org and the Chevron Recreation website http://chevrec.mybigcommerce.com.
To obtain the discount CRA Members who are already Sprint customers or who wish to become Sprint customers will be required to validate their eligibility by presenting Sprint with either of the following documents:
- A copy of their Benefits Confirmation of Elections Statement (shows that the Member is participating in a Chevron medical benefits plan); or
- A confirmation letter of eligibility which will be issued by Jim Bateman, CRA Administrator for the Sprint discount. (Jim can be contacted by email at jsbateman@att.net or by phone at 916-467-7520. Jim is a Member of the CRA Benefits Committee.)
If a Member should receive a rejection notification from Sprint, they should contact Barbara Storer, Sprint Wireless Benefits Manager for Chevron employees & retirees. Barbara’s email address is barbara.storer@sprint.com and her phone number is 925-695-4570.
